SOLIDWORKS Add-in User Interface

ATR CustomTools adds some of its commands also to the component related SOLIDWORKS right-click menu. The menu items are shortcuts into the ATR CustomTools commands:

			Document Types
Command name		Command description	Parts	Assemblies	Drawings
	Properties	Manage Custom Properties. Name, rename, copy and move active or selected document; and replace with a copy or instantiate new copy of selected component.
	Copy	Copy, rename and/or move entire assemblies; or batch edit Custom Property values with Write Property Values action.	No open documents required
	Comment	Quick access and modify 'CustomComment' Custom Property.
	Notes	Quickly add notes to drawing with possibility to save common ones for later re-use; or add customizable templated notes utilizing profiled Properties and model features.
	Data	Link model/drawing properties as Notes to drawings with just few clicks; or add dynamic Revision table utilizing Revision Properties.
	Open Drawing	ATR CustomTools can locate and open all drawings for the selected model regardless of their filenames and locations -when they are indexed to ATR CustomTools Database.
	Print/Convert	Collect your entire assembly(ies) including all their drawings with a single click, and perform one or many well-defined Conversion rules, Printing profiles and/or Tasks all at once. You can also add Quick Launch item(s) to the ATR CustomTools Command Manager tab for Batch Operation Templates.
	Import	ATR CustomTools indexes file references to its database on document save, which allows them to be found with Search and Where Used, and wildly named drawings to be located for various operations. Import can also be manually executed for SOLIDWORKS files to have them indexed without saving. Import can also Convert SolidEdge files in a batch.	No open documents required
	Explore	Open Windows Explorer folder location of the active or selected document with a single click.
	Cutting Profile	Single click create 1:1 scale clean sheet for DXF/DWG cutting. Various features like silhouette cut and custom notes can be configured to be automatically added.
	Bend Sheet	Single click create a clean sheet similar to Cutting Profile but with included Bend lines, Bend notes and other various configurable features.
	Coord Note	Mark coordinate points to the drawing views e.g., to ease manual programming of cutting paths for different kinds of cutting devices.
	Where Used	View and locate where the active/selected model is used.
	Export	Export whole SOLIDWORKS structures with the pre-defined property data into external system or format; like Excel Report. Heavily utilized with various ERP intergrations. Also a Quick Access to specific Export Profiles can be added to the ATR CustomTools Command Manager tab, as well as a launcher for Export Wizard.
Customize Menu		Define the items to be shown in the ATR CustomTools menu in SOLIDWORKS.

The ATR CustomTools toolbar contain shortcuts for accessing the ATR CustomTools commands. The ATR CustomTools toolbar appear into your SOLIDWORKS user interface once the ATR CustomTools is set as an active add-in in the SOLIDWORKS Add-ins options.

ATR CustomTools SOLIDWORKS add-in contains a command manager. The command manager has the shortcuts to ATR CustomTools commands like the ATR CustomTools toolbar.

The ATR CustomTools command manager with the document type based commands appear when you open a document in SOLIDWORKS while you also have the ATR CustomTools add-in set as an active add-in in the SOLIDWORKS Add-ins options.

• Use the ATR CustomTools Search feature to find SOLIDWORKS documents based on their reference data stored into the ATR CustomTools database
• Use the ATR CustomTools task pane to see your ATR CustomTools license and reseller information
• Use the Properties pane to add reference data into your SOLIDWORKS documents
• Use the Copy feature to copy your SOLIDWORKS documents with their reference data into other location
• Use the Data feature to insert reference data annotations into your SOLIDWORKS drawings
• Use the Comment feature to add customized comments to your SOLIDWORKS models
• Use the Print/Convert feature to execute ATR CustomTools batch operations against your SOLIDWORKS documents
• Use the Bend Sheet command to create a bend sheet to the selected drawing
