Custom Color for the Component

Custom Color set for an assembly overrides the parts' color definitions in the assembly. However, any color definitions in the parts do not disappear; the assembly color is just determined by the most top-level document in the assembly.

Properties

Click the GetColor button in the Properties pane. The Custom Colors dialog box appears.

Project Default

Click the GetColor button associated with the Custom Color property in your Project's default property value settings.

Select the desired color from the list in the Custom Colors dialog box and then click OK to assign the color to the selected component by the Properties pane, or as a project-specific default in Profile Options.

Custom colors that exist in your profile are listed in the Custom Colors dialog box. You can define more custom colors in the Colors options of your ATR CustomTools Profile Options.

TIP: You can also double-click the desired color in the list to assign it to the selected component.
