How to Use Revisions
CUSTOMTOOLS Revisions tutorial guides you through the version information management by an example based approach.
In this tutorial you are going to use the following CUSTOMTOOLS features:
- CUSTOMTOOLS profile. CUSTOMTOOLS Profile is a profile located in your CUSTOMTOOLS databae. Profile is probably the most frequently used storage of your CUSTOMTOOLS environment settings that affect to your design tasks daily basis. CUSTOMTOOLS Profile contain settings for several CUSTOMTOOLS features such as Properties (including the revision properties), Projects, Batch Operations and so on.
- Attributes. To add the revision information to the CUSTOMTOOLS database.
- Properties to add version information field to Properties pane.
- Version Properties. To define the dialog box contents that is used to specify version information for the document.
- Lookup Lists as a source of combobox type of version property.
- Data to insert the CUSTOMTOOLS revision table into your SOLIDWORKS drawing.
