The CUSTOMTOOLS Server options are used to manage the CUSTOMTOOLS database connection.
CUSTOMTOOLS databases themselves are managed with the CUSTOMTOOLS Administration Tool but the server connection settings could be changed also in the SOLIDWORKS Add-In and, in the CUSTOMTOOLS Viewer by using the Server feature.
By default, the CUSTOMTOOLS database have a user called Admin that does not have a password defined. You can set the desired password for the Admin user later to improve the information security of your CUSTOMTOOLS database.
The tree view shows the CUSTOMTOOLS databases which are registered and located in the current database server:

Logout | Logs you out from the selected database. The Logout command also ends your current database session even in case that the Remember me option was selected in the CUSTOMTOOLS Login dialog box. | |

Add CUSTOMTOOLS database into the Windows Registry of your local workstation.
Databases that are added to the Windows Registry, could be used as the CUSTOMTOOLS data vault. |

You do not have to register the databases which are linked with CUSTOMTOOLS as an external data sources. | ||
Unregister |
Removes information of the selected CUSTOMTOOLS database from the Windows Registry of your local workstation.
The unregistered database disappears from the Database View. Unregistered databases cannot be in use with the CUSTOMTOOLS products. Unregistered databases still exists in the server, so it could be re-registered. Re-registering the database also makes the database usable with the CUSTOMTOOLS products again. NOTE: Unregistering the databases applies only to the local workstation where the unregistering action is being performed in. |
Set as active | Sets the selected database as active. The active database means the database that is used with CUSTOMTOOLS products. Only one database could be active at once. You may have several databases for CUSTOMTOOLS in your SQL Server but only one database could be active in CUSTOMTOOLS at once. |
Refresh | Refreshes the database tree view. |
The Messages box shows the warning and error messages coming from the system.
