While you have a drawing document open, click in the CUSTOMTOOLS toolbar or click Tools, CUSTOMTOOLS, Data. The Data pane appears.
The Data feature could be used to insert values from the Properties stored into your SOLIDWORKS documents into the drawings. Available items are retrieved from the Properties defined in your CUSTOMTOOLS Profile.

Model Fields | Get the model scope Properties to insert them to your drawing. The model scope Properties cover all properties included in your CUSTOMTOOLS profile on the Part, Assembly and Model scopes. |

Revision | Select this to insert a revision table into the drawing. Contents of the revision table inserted are retrieved from the referenced document's Revision Properties. You can retrieve the revision information from the SOLIDWORKS Model or Drawing document referenced by your drawing. |
Select the desired data type to be inserted and then click to proceed forward to the next page to insert the desired data into your drawing.
Properties could be inserted directly to the SOLIDWORKS Sheet Format (*.slddrt). While you have a drawing open in SOLIDWORKS, right-click somewhere in the drawing area and select Edit Sheet Format. Insert the desired Properties to the sheet format. Once the desired Properties have been inserted, right-click the drawing area again and select Edit Sheet then click File, Save Sheet Format.
NOTE: Drawings that are opened in the View only mode, are not supported by the Data feature. |
