Model Fields

Add the desired model related Properties into the drawing template. The data that you insert with the CUSTOMTOOLS Data feature are saved into the selected layer of the drawing. If you insert custom data into the layer that is selected but the selected layer is not activated, the data is stored into the layer but you may not be able to see the data until you activate the selected layer.



Adding Model fields:

The available Properties are retrieved from your CUSTOMTOOLS Profile settings. You can add, edit and remove your existing Properties in CUSTOMTOOLS Options.

Model Fields A list of the Model scope Properties available in your CUSTOMTOOLS Profile.
OK Inserts the note containing the value of the custom property that you selected into the drawing.
Info NOTE: If the added Property does not contain any value, the value in the drawing or in the drawing template will also be empty.


Usage:

Refer to the following steps to insert the Property based note annotations into your drawing using the CUSTOMTOOLS Data feature:

  1. Select the desired custom property under the Model Fields list.
  2. Click on the desired place in the drawing area where you want to insert the note to.
  3. Click OK. Value of the selected Property appear to the drawing.
Info TIP: You can add more data into the drawing, by clicking Hide. Then the Data pane does not close when you click OK and you are able to add more items into the drawing or drawing template.
