Define Default Printer

Define the default printer of your batch printing profile on the Define Default Printer step of the Print & Convert Profile Wizard. The default printer with the settings defined in this page is used to print the selected SOLIDWORKS documents that does not match with the special printing rules defined in the priting profile.

In the CUSTOMTOOLS Viewer, this is the first page to appear when you open the Print/Convert feature.



Defining the Default Printer:

Printer Defines the printer device or, a software based document printer used by default for printing the selected SOLIDWORKS documents.
Source The Source box defines the source tray of paper in the printer selected from the Printer box. The sources available in the Source box are retrieved automatically based on the printer selected.
Paper size Defines the paper size to print selected documents on.
Orientation In the Orientation box, you can select to print documents either portrait or landscape orientation to the target paper.
Scaling Select the Zoom to fit option to automatically fit the source document to a size of the paper selected in the Paper size box.
Find printer Click the Find printer link to search for a printer available in your environment.
