Hidden Properties

CustomProperties can be set as hidden which means that the specific properties does not appear in the CustomProperties pane but their values are written into the SOLIDWORKS document properties and CustomTools database normally.

Hideable property types:

• Editbox
• Date

Hidden CustomProperty cannot have:

Functions:

The function options of the CustomProperty are setup in the Functions page.

• Button Function
• After Function

Additional Options:

The additional options of the CustomProperty are setup in the Additional Options page.

• Maximum Length

NOTE: The hidden property value cannot be required.
