ATR CustomTools Network License Manager
The ATR CustomTools Network License Manager is used for the administration and use of the network licenses of ATR CustomTools. The License Manager service is a server side component of ATR CustomTools and is not needed on client or standalone workstations.
The ATR CustomTools Network License Manager installs and runs as a Windows Service, but it also has a graphical user interface for activating the network license and monitoring usage of the ATR CustomTools network licenses in your environment.
ATR CustomTools Network License supports the major versions of ATR CustomTools based on your network license's maintenance subscription. The newest supported major version is the one shown with your license in ATR CustomTools Portal.
Example:
A customer has a maintenance subscription valid until the end of December 2021. In that case, the Network License supports all ATR CustomTools major versions up to 2022. The major version support can be calculated by the following rules:
- The newest ATR CustomTools major version released during the year 2021 was CT 2022.
- The subscription is valid until the end of December 2021, so the newest supported major version is therefore also CT 2022.
