License Manager System Requirements
The ATR CustomTools License Manager is a lightweight Windows service that manages and monitors floating network licenses.
| Operating system | A supported 64-bit (x64) Microsoft Windows Server. See Supported Operating Systems below. |
| .NET Framework | Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or newer. It is included with the supported Windows Server versions and is also deployed by the ATR CustomTools installer. |
| Network | Access to the local area network so that client workstations can reach the license server. |
NOTE:
The ATR CustomTools License Manager has a negligible processor, memory, and disk footprint. Any
server that meets the requirements of its Windows Server operating system is more than sufficient to run
it.
The ATR CustomTools License Manager is supported on the following 64-bit (x64) Microsoft Windows Server operating systems:
- Windows Server 2025
- Windows Server 2022
- Windows Server 2019
- Windows Server 2016
Because the ATR CustomTools License Manager is a ATR CustomTools Server component, workstation operating systems are not officially supported. Install the ATR CustomTools License Manager on your ATR CustomTools license server rather than on a client workstation.
NOTE:
ATR CustomTools does not support Apple Mac® or GNU/Linux operating systems.
