Network License
The Network License is a dynamic license. You can purchase a specific number of floating licenses to be used simultaneously.
The number of users allowed to use the licenses at the same time depends on the number of purchased Network Licenses. The main advantage of the Network License is that the number of potential users can be higher than the number of licenses.
Network License architecture
The Network License is created in accordance with the Server-Client architecture as shown in the figure above. The Network License requires a Local Network, as well as one server that acts as a License Server. The License Server manages and administrates the use of the purchased Network Licenses. The workstations that use ATR CustomTools are called Clients.
When you start ATR CustomTools, the workstation automatically sends a request to the License Server. If all licenses are currently in use, you will be unable to use ATR CustomTools.
