Users

In association with the Users node of the Database View, you see the existing users of the selected ATR CustomTools database. For new Windows users, you can set up default options. The default options apply to users logging in to ATR CustomTools for the first time using the Windows Login authentication method.

Enable Windows login Enable or disable the Windows authentication mode of the ATR CustomTools database. When selected, you can log in using Windows credentials by choosing Windows Login in the ATR CustomTools Login dialog box. New Windows users are set up automatically based on the default options described in Defaults for New Windows Users.
Disable automatic creation of new users Prevent automatic creation of new database users from Windows users. When selected, Windows users are not added to the database. To add new Windows users, clear this option.
NOTE: Currently, you cannot add Windows users manually into the database.
Delete user(s) Delete selected user(s) from the database.

The authentication mode selection box is visible in the ATR CustomTools Login dialog box only if Enable Windows login is selected. When enabled, you can choose the authentication method from:

Windows Login Select Windows Login to log in using your Windows credentials. Supported since ATR CustomTools 2019.
ATR CustomTools Login Select ATR CustomTools Login to log in using database users. This is the only method supported prior to ATR CustomTools 2019.
NOTE: If Enable Windows login is not selected, ATR CustomTools Login is used as the authentication method.

Using Windows Login, the ATR CustomTools Login dialog box no longer appears on SOLIDWORKS startup after the first successful login.
