Database Search Groups
With Database Search Groups options you can set up a connection to an external database table. Once you have created a link to the external database, you can link Property values with the database values.
Links between the database and the Properties might get broken if the table of the linked database changes while there are one or more links to the Properties.
The Database Search Groups options are located in the ATR CustomTools Profile Options.
Select the desired ATR CustomTools product from the table below to display further and product-specific instructions to find the Database Search Groups options.

Login to your ATR CustomTools database, select the ATR CustomTools profile node from the Database View and then click the Profile Options command located in the Profile Settings group in the ribbon. The ATR CustomTools Options dialog box appear with the Profile Options tab active. Select the Database Search Groups to see the options. |
| Add | Create a new Database Search Group. |
| Edit | Edit the selected Database Search Group. |
| Delete | Remove selected Database Search Group(s) from your ATR CustomTools Profile. |
If you add or edit columns available in the data source used in the selected Database Search Group, refresh the columns in the Database Search Group by opening settings of the affected Database Search Group in the ATR CustomTools Database Search Group options. You do not have to make any modifications to the Database Search Group while refreshing the columns list.
To open settings of the Database Search Group, select the desired Database Search Group from the Database Search Groups list and then click the Edit button.
