Cloud Connect Export Profile
| Profile name | Specifies the name of the new export profile. |
| Profile type |
Handler type of the selected Export Profile. The profile type should be determined based on the
purpose of the Export profile. Select the Cloud Connected option to create an export profile to
export structures to the Product Information Cloud system.
To create a conventional export profile for exporting the model structure into an external file or to an information system for which a special export profile type does not exist, select the <General> option from the Profile type box. |
|
Opens the Template Settings dialog box. Use the Template Settings dialog box to define
settings in relation to the Excel file template.
NOTE:
The button is available only when the selected Profile type is Excel Report.
|
| Connection point | Determines the Cloud Connect connection point's URL address. |
| Organization ID | Determines the organization identifier used to login to the Product Information Cloud service. |
| Login | Click the Login button to open the Cloud Connected dialog box. Use the Cloud Connect dialog box to login to the Product Information Cloud service with your credentials associated to the organization identifier entered in the Organization ID box. |
| Export to |
Determines the target workspaces where the structure is exported to. Checkboxes used to select the desired target workspaces have the following three selection states:
|
To setup the target workspaces to export model structures with the selected Cloud Connected type of an export profile, you need to login to the Product Information Cloud system to read available workspaces from the system. The login action is performed with help of the Cloud Connected dialog box.
| Username | User name in the Product Information Cloud system. |
| Password | Password for the Product Information Cloud system user defined in the Username box. |
| Remember me | Select this option to store the login information provided to allow automatic login to the Product Information Cloud system. |
| Login | Accept the login information and attempt to login to the Product Information Cloud system with the credentials provided. |
| Top level only | Process only the documents in the top level of an assembly. |
| Parts only | Process only the part documents of the assemblies. |
| Indented assemblies | Processes all documents which belong to the same entity. |
| Accumulate quantities |
Select this option to calculate quantities in respect of the parent component quantities (which has its
quantity calculated in respect of its parent etc). NOT RECOMMENDED for Product Information Cloud
export.
Example: A top level assembly has two instances of the same sub-assembly and one instance of a part, and the sub-assembly has two instances of the same part. Traditional structural quantities would be 2 for the sub-assembly, 1 for the part under top assembly, and 2 for the part under sub-assembly. Accumulate quantities answers to "How many of this component is needed to manufacture all of its parent components". It should not be mixed with total quantities needed in respect of the top assembly (not available for Indented BOM Type). To manufacture 1 main assembly, you'd need 2 sub-assemblies and 1 part; and to manufacture those 2 sub-assemblies, you'd need 4 parts. So the accumulated quantity of the part is 4 under the sub-assembly and 1 under the top assembly, while its total quantity in Parts Only listing would be 5. |
| Include drawings | Select this option to process drawings related to the models in file conversions executed on the structure export. |
| Display configurations of parts as separate items | Separates the different configurations of the document to individual items. |
| Display configurations of parts as one item | Parts appear as one no matter how many configurations they have. |
The Required fields options are used to determine the ATR CustomTools attributes of which values to be linked to the attributes in the Product Information Cloud system to identify the SOLIDWORKS model structure items exported.
| 'Code' attribute | Determines the ATR CustomTools attribute to be linked to the Code attribute in the Product Information Cloud system. |
| 'Code' label | Determines the label associated to the Code attribute. Label of the Code field is shown to the user in the ATR CustomTools Export feature's user interface. |
| 'Description' attribute | Determines the ATR CustomTools attribute to be linked to the Description attribute in the Product Information Cloud system. |
| 'Description' label | Determines the label associated to the Description attribute. Label of the Description field is shown to the user in the ATR CustomTools Export feature's user interface. |
Select the desired file conversion rules that you want to be executed against the selected model structure during the structure export.
ATR CustomTools Export Profile could work in association to a ATR CustomTools script add-in. ATR CustomTools script add-ins are maintained using the Manage Scripts feature located in the ATR CustomTools Administration. The script add-ins are very flexible and they could be fully customized based on your needs.
