File Conversion Options
File conversion rules define the settings for different batch file conversions. You can scope the rules for specific types of documents.
The File Conversion options are located in the ATR CustomTools Profile Options.
Select the desired ATR CustomTools product from the table below to display further and product-specific instructions to find the File Conversion options.

Click Tools, ATR CustomTools, Options. The ATR CustomTools Options dialog box appear with the Profile Options tab active. Select the File Conversion node to see the options. |

Click the Options command located in the ribbon. The ATR CustomTools Options dialog box appear with the Profile Options tab active. Select the File Conversion node to see the options. |
| ATR CustomTools Administration |
Login to your ATR CustomTools database, select the ATR CustomTools profile node from the Database View and then click the Profile Options command located in the Profile Settings group in the ribbon. The ATR CustomTools Options dialog box appear with the Profile Options tab active. Select the File Conversion to see the options. |
| Add | Opens the Add Batch File Conversion Rule dialog box. You can add new file conversion rules using that dialog box. |
| Edit | Opens the Edit Batch File Conversion Rule dialog box. You can edit the selected file conversion rule with that dialog box. |
| Copy | Copy the Batch File Conversion Rule, including any attached Filter, as a new rule. |
| Delete | Deletes selected file conversion rule(s). |
Using the filtering options, you can define rules to control what documents are selected in association with the selected File Conversion Rule.
| Define Filter | Create a new document selection filter, or edit the existing filter that is already associated with the selected File Conversion Rule. |
| Delete Filter | Deletes the document selection filter that is associated with the selected File Conversion Rule. |
The filter icon in the
File conversion rules list indicates that a document selection filter is associated with that
File Conversion Rule.
| Name | Shows the name of the batch conversion rule. |
| File type | Shows the output file type. |
| In sheet text | Shows the conditions which must match with the sheets to be operated with the rule. |
| Execute on File Save | Shows a tick mark if Execute rule... After file is saved in SOLIDWORKS is set for the rule. |
| Embed all sheets in the same target file | Shows the selection status of the Embed all sheets in the same target file option. |
| Location at runtime | Shows whether the destination path of the output file is set to be determined at runtime. |
| Overwrite | Shows the selected option for handling files that already exist. |
