Print Properties page contains the batch printing profile related settings. The batch printing profiles are used to print the different documents always to the correct printers, so you can get the optimal printing results as well.
The Print Properties options are located in the CUSTOMTOOLS Profile Options.
Select the desired CUSTOMTOOLS product from the CUSTOMTOOLS Products box to display the further and the product specific instructions to find the Print Properties options.

Under the Print profiles are listed all existing batch printing profiles.
New | Opens the New Print Profile dialog box for creating a new batch printing profile. |
Edit | Opens the Edit Print Profile dialog box for editing selected batch printing profile. |
Copy | Copies the selected Batch printing profile, including possible attached Filter, as a new profile. |
Delete | Removes selected batch printing profile(s). |
Using the filterin options, you can define rules to control what documents are being selected in association to the selected Print Profile.
Define Filter | Create a new document selection filter, or edit the existing filter that is already associated to the selected Print Profile. |
Delete Filter | Deletes the document selection filter that is associated to the selected Print Profile. |
The icon in the Print profiles list indicates that a document selection filter is being associated to that Print Profile. |
Using the Profile related printing settings you may setup the printer options associated with the selected Print Profile.
New | Opens the Print Profile Wizard for creating a new printer profile. Use different printer profiles to setup for example the printing devides to be used with specific sheet format settings. |
Edit | Opens the Print Profile Wizard for editing the selected printer profile. |
Delete | Removes the selected printer profile from the selected batch print profile. |
By default, the new Print profile has the following three(3) pre-defined printer profiles.
<default> | The <default> settings are being applied on priting if the documents processed does not match to the rules defined in other printer profiles. |
<assembly> | These settings are used by default when printing SOLIDWORKS assembly documents (.sldasm) and, the source documents does not match to the rules defined in other printer profiles. |
<part> | These settings are used when printing SOLIDWORKS part documents (.sldprt) and, the source documents does not match to the rules defined in other printer profiles. |
NOTE: The pre-defined printer profiles are automatically set by the system. Therefore, the user cannot remove these three printer profiles. |
