The Network license is a dynamic license. You can buy a specific number of floating licenses to be used simultaneously
The number of users allowed to use the licences simultenously depends on the number of purchased Network Licenses. The main advantage of the Network License is that the number of potential users can be higher than the number of licenses.
The Network License is created in accordance with the Server-Client -architecture as shown on the figure above. The Network License requires a Local Network, as well as one server that works as a License Server. The License Server manage and admistrate the use of the purchased Network licenses. The workstations that use CUSTOMTOOLS are called Clients.
When you start CUSTOMTOOLS, the workstation sends automatically a request to the License Server. If all the licenses are currently in use, then you are unable to use CUSTOMTOOLS.
