Resolving Errors

If any errors occur while performing a CustomTools operation, the specific document line(s) gets highlighted by the red background. You can then find out a reason for an error by right-clicking the line with the red background and select What's Wrong to open the What is Wrong dialog box that show the issues preventing the CustomTools operation to succeed.


What is Wrong:

The What is Wrong dialog box shows the following information about the errors occurred:

Type The Type column displays the type of an issue that was found.
File A file that the error occurred with.
Description Description of an error occurred.

For Example: If you are copying a file using the Copy feature and a file with the same name already exist in the selected destination folder, the Description column have information like File 'Z:\MyDesignWork\000001 PLATE.sldprt' already exists.


Controls:

Ignore Click the Ignore button to ignore errors listed in the What is Wrong dialog box and try to continue the interrupted operation.
