CustomTools Troubleshooting

This help topic describes the most common ways to look for help in you encounter some issues during usage of the CustomTools products.


Where to Find CustomTools Event Log From:

CustomTools writes an own application level log that is accessible in the Windows Event Viewer tool.

The log contains information about the possible issues while using CustomTools. The following steps describes how to access the CustomTools event log. The following steps apply to the Windows 7 and newer operating systems.

  1. Click Start, Run. The Run dialog box appears.
  2. Type eventvwr and click OK. The Windows Event Viewer dialog box appears.
  3. Expand the Applications and Services Logs node in the Event Viewer tree to see the CustomTools event log.
Info NOTE: Windows XP operating system is not supported.


Resources in the CustomTools website:

CustomTools has an online customer center. In the CustomTools troubleshooting purposes, the customers could use the Customer Center to look for the SPRs that the user/company is associated to. Click the following Customer Center Login button to open the Customer Center Login page.




Resellers:

The list of resellers located in your area can be found from the CustomTools website. Click the following Reseller Information button to open the CustomTools website.
