This tutorial guides you through the ATR CustomTools installation using the ATR CustomTools installer.

This document is for all users, regardless of experience with earlier ATR CustomTools products. Its main purpose is to familiarize users with the changes and improvements in the ATR CustomTools installation program.

The ATR CustomTools installation package is located in the installation media you have purchased.

Installer Name System Type

If you need to install Microsoft SQL Server separately on your server, you can download SQL Server for free from the Microsoft SQL Server downloads.

As the SQL Server is a product of the Microsoft Corporation, it is recommended that you refer to the official SQL Server Documentation available for example in the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN), in case of any problems during the SQL Server installation process:

ATR CustomTools installation can also be performed using the Windows Command Prompt. See Install ATR CustomTools Using Windows Command Prompt for instructions.

It is recommended to check the ATR CustomTools system requirements before starting the installation. If you already have SOLIDWORKS installed, you can skip the system requirements check and start the installation. Otherwise, view the system requirements first.

When installing a ATR CustomTools Beta version, a notification will appear to inform you that the version is not an official release.

NOTE: Do not use any Beta version of ATR CustomTools in your production environment.
