General User Options
The General User Options contains user-specific settings such as the default dictionary and delete files options.
The General options are located in the ATR CustomTools User Options.
Select the desired ATR CustomTools product from the table below to display further and product-specific instructions to find the General options.

Click Tools, ATR CustomTools, Options. The ATR CustomTools Options dialog box appear with the Profile Options tab active. Click the User Options tab. Select the General node to see the options. |

Click the Options command located in the ribbon. The ATR CustomTools Options dialog box appear with the Profile Options tab active. Click the User Options tab. Select the General node to see the options. |

Login to your ATR CustomTools database. Right-click the desired user node from the Database View and select User Options. The ATR CustomTools Options dialog box appear with the User Options tab active. Select the General node to see the options related to the ATR CustomTools user currently logged in the database. |
| Dictionary default language | Selects the default language to be used from the dictionary. |
| Select the user interface language | Determines the user interface language used in ATR CustomTools products. Languages available depend on what languages you installed to ATR CustomTools. |
| Delete files permanently | Enable or disable deleting files without using the Recycle Bin. |
When you change the user interface language of ATR CustomTools, all running ATR CustomTools products need to be restarted to reload the localization modules and apply the language change. If you change the language using the SOLIDWORKS add-in, you need to restart SOLIDWORKS to apply the change.

Allows ATR CustomTools to add Wild-Card Characters to both ends of the search keyword.
The wild-card characters are not visible to the user even if ATR CustomTools is allowed to add them. |
| Maximum number of rows shown in the search result list | Limits the number of visible rows in the search results. |
| Nested view | The search results are shown in a parent-child way where the document itself is a parent document and its configurations are shown as child documents. |
| Expand documents in search results to show configurations | The search results are automatically expanded in the Search Results dialog box. |
| Flat view | Shows one row per each found document configuration in the search results. |
| Show only one configuration per file | Only one configuration from each file is shown in the search results. |
Use the Reset Command Manager button to reset the ATR CustomTools tab in the SOLIDWORKS Command Manager back to default.
