Property Tab Builder Templates

The ATR CustomTools Properties Wizard is a simplified tool for creating Properties for storing the metadata from your SOLIDWORKS documents into the ATR CustomTools Database.

Locating The Property Wizard

With a ATR CustomTools Profile that does not have any Properties already defined on the Model or Drawing scope, you can open the Easy Implementation Property Wizard from the ATR CustomTools Model Properties and Drawing Properties options by clicking the Launch Wizard button.

NOTE: If your ATR CustomTools Profile already has one or more Properties defined in the Model or Drawing Properties, the Easy Implementation Property Wizard cannot be used to add more Properties to the profile. In that case, you can add new Properties using the traditional ATR CustomTools Property Wizard instead.

Select Property Tab Builder Templates

Creating Properties by the SOLIDWORKS Property Tab Builder templates allows you to use your SOLIDWORKS Property Tab Builder template files to generate the ATR CustomTools Properties based on them.

Template for parts	Select desired SOLIDWORKS Part Properties Template (.prtprp)* files. The selected Part Properties Template (.prtprp)* files are used to read the suitable ATR CustomTools Model Properties from.
Template for assemblies	Select desired SOLIDWORKS Assembly Properties Template (.asmprp)* files. The selected Assembly Properties Template (.asmprp)* files are used to read the suitable ATR CustomTools Model Properties from.
