CUSTOMTOOLS migration tools helps you to migrate from an earlier version of CUSTOMTOOLS to versions 4.x and later. Also in case you are migrating to CUSTOMTOOLS from certain other products, you can use the CUSTOMTOOLS migration tools to ease the process.
CUSTOMTOOLS Migration Tools:
For the migration tasks, CUSTOMTOOLS provides you the following tools.
CUSTOMTOOLS Import Standalone. Use the standalone version of the CUSTOMTOOLS Import feature to import reference data from your existing SOLIDWORKS documents into your new CUSTOMTOOLS database.
CUSTOMTOOLS Profile Converter. Convert your existing settings from the exported file into the CUSTOMTOOLS Profile file format (.ctprof). The following profile formats could be converted into the CUSTOMTOOLS profile format:
CUSTOMTOOLS 3.x configuration file (*.cfg)
CPM 9 configuration file (*.twx)
ToolWorks configuration file (*.sdhini)
Migration tools are standalone feaures so you can just install and run the tools in your local workstation.
How to Install Migration Tools:
Migration tools could be installed using the Custom type of setup in the CUSTOMTOOLS installer. Migration tools are available in the Custom Setup page of the installer, under the Tools group.
