YouTubeLink Import Profile

Use the CUSTOMTOOLS Import Profile feature to import your CUSTOMTOOLS Profiles (*.cfg, *.ctprof), the Teamworks Custom Property Manager Configuration Files (*.twx) and, the ToolWorks Configuration Files (*.sdhini) into your CUSTOMTOOLS database.


Run CUSTOMTOOLS Administration tool and then login to the database where you want to import the profile to.

  1. In the Database View, right-click the Profiles node and select Import Profile. The Import Profile dialog box appear.
TIP: An alternative way to start importing a profile to CUSTOMTOOLS database is to click the Import Profile command located in the Profile Settings group in ribbon.

Profiles imported using the CPM 9 configuration file as the source file, does not have the any Properties enabled in search by default. The user can set the desired Properties enabled in search using the Property Wizard after importing the CPM 9 profile into the CUSTOMTOOLS database. Please refer to the Property Wizard help for more information.

Define a name the imported profile is shown as, in the CUSTOMTOOLS database in the Profile Wizard: Step 1 dialog box.

Profile name The Profile name box determines a name which the imported profile is about to be shown as in the CUSTOMTOOLS database. By default, the source profile filename appear in the Profile name box. If the default profile name is not the one you would like to call the profile as, in the CUSTOMTOOLS database, replace the current profile name in the Profile name box with your desired one.
Set profile active Select the Set profile active option to automatically set the imported profile as active on import process. The active profile in CUSTOMTOOLS database means the profile that is being used by all CUSTOMTOOLS workstations that uses the selected CUSTOMTOOLS database.
