YouTubeLink Export a CUSTOMTOOLS Profile

You can export CUSTOMTOOLS profiles into CUSTOMTOOLS Profile files (.ctprof). Profile files could be imported into other CUSTOMTOOLS databases with help of the Import Profile feature. Exporting a profile is a good way for example to backup your CUSTOMTOOLS Profile specific settings into an external file and therefore apply in another CUSTOMTOOLS environment.


Where to Find the Profile Export Feature:

To locate the Export Profile feature, first login to your CUSTOMTOOLS database using the CUSTOMTOOLS Administration. Then in the Database View, right-click the desired profile and select Export Profile. The Export Profile dialog box appear.

You can also start the Export Profile feature using the Export Profile command located in the ribbon while you have the desired Profile selected in the Database View.
Save in Displays the name of current directory. You can browse the folders to export the profile into the different location.
File name Specifies the name for the exported profile file. Name that the selected profile is shown in the CUSTOMTOOLS Database is the default filename the profile is exported as. You can change the filename to export the selected profile as.
Save as type Spefies the type of the exported file. CUSTOMTOOLS Exports the database profiles always in the ctprof file format (*.ctprof).
Recent folders Shows the folders that are recently used.
Save Exports the profile.
NOTE: Exported profiles does not disappear from the Database View.
