Icon Creating New User

User management is handled by administration tool which allows you to add, edit and remove CUSTOMTOOLS database users.

This help describes the creation of new user.

Where to find the Create User Feature:

  1. Right-click Users node in Database View and select Create New. The Create User dialog box appears.
User name Specifies the user name that will be used to login into the database.
Password Specifies a password that will be required when login to database.
Confirm password Confirms the password validation. Retype the password that you typed into the Password box.
Select user language Sets the default language for the new user.
Active profile Specifies the CUSTOMTOOLS profile set as active by default for the new user.
First Name Specifies the first name of the user.
Last Name Specifies the last name of the user.
Initials The user name initials. The initials are useful for shortening the users' names.

Options Opens the Options dialog box with the User Options tab active. Click the Apply button to enable this command while creating a new CUSTOMTOOLS database user.
Apply Saves the new user information.
The Apply button turns to OK button on creation of the new database user once you have clicked it.
