External Data Source Properties

Viewing properties of an external database

1. Run CustomTools Administration Tool.
2. Login to your CustomTools database.
3. In the Database View, click External Databases.
4. Exrernal Data Sources.Shows the existing external data sources. Select any of existing external data sources.
5. Click Properties.

   The External Data Source Properties dialog box appears.

You can see the same information regarding the selected external data source as you have defined when you were adding it.

NOTE: You are unable to edit any properties of an external data source via the External Data Source Properties dialog box.
