Creating ERP Linked Property
In this tutorial, your goal is to learn how to create a custom property whose value is linked to an external data source.
During this tutorial, you will use the following features of ATR CustomTools:
- Attributes: Link between properties and SOLIDWORKS document properties.
- Database Search Groups: Profile-specific options used to set up links to an external database to retrieve custom property values.
- Property Wizard: Wizard to create and edit custom properties.
NOTE:
A connection to an external database is required to complete this tutorial. If you do not have a link yet,
you can create one by completing the External Microsoft Access Database or
External SQL Database tutorial related to the ATR CustomTools Administration Tool.
