How to Use Revisions

ATR CustomTools Revisions tutorial guides you through version information management by an example-based approach.

In this tutorial, you will use the following ATR CustomTools features:

  • ATR CustomTools profile: The profile is located in your ATR CustomTools database and is the most frequently used storage for your environment settings, affecting your daily design tasks. The profile contains settings for several ATR CustomTools features such as Properties (including the revision properties), Projects, Batch Operations, and more.
  • Attributes: To add revision information to the ATR CustomTools database.
  • Properties: To add a version information field to the Properties pane.
  • Version Properties: To define the dialog box contents used to specify version information for the document.
  • Lookup Lists: As a source for combobox type version property.
  • Data: To insert the ATR CustomTools revision table into your SOLIDWORKS drawing.
