ATR CustomTools Printing Profile - Printer Information

In the Printer Information page, you can define the printing device, paper size and orientation, and the scaling used to fit the source document to the paper sheet for the printing profile.

Printer The printer device or printer software used to print source documents into files.
Size Size of the paper sheet to print the source documents on.
Width Width of the paper sheet the documents are about to be printed to.
Height Height of the paper sheet the documents are about to be printed to.
Source

A paper source in the printer where the output paper sheets are taken from. Options available in the Source box depend on the paper sources available in the printer device selected in the Printer box.

NOTE: The Width and Height boxes are for setting up a customized paper sheet size. They are enabled only when the custom paper size option is selected from the Size box. In other cases, the sheet's Width and Height are automatically defined by the selected sheet size.

In the Scale settings, you can set up how the source documents are scaled to the target paper sheets.

Scale to fit Select the Scale to fit option to automatically scale the source documents to fit onto the size of the selected target paper sheet.
Scale (%) In the Scale box, you can set the custom scaling percentage the documents are scaled by to the paper sheets.
Portrait Portrait Select the Portrait option to print documents in portrait orientation to the target sheet.
Landscape Landscape Select the Landscape option to print documents in landscape orientation to the target sheet.
Automatic

Prints the documents with colors if the printer or plotter driver reports that it is capable of printing color. Otherwise, the documents are printed using black and white.

Color / Grey scale

Tries to print the documents always using colors regardless of the capabilities that the printer or plotter driver reports. Black and white printers usually print the colored entities in grey scale or dithered with this option. Usage of this option is recommended in an environment where a color printer or plotter prints using black and white with the Automatic option.

Black and white

Sends all documents to the printer or plotter in black and white regardless of the printer or plotter color capabilities.
