Activate ATR CustomTools add-in for SOLIDWORKS
ATR CustomTools Add-In has to be set as an active add-in in SOLIDWORKS to be able to use it.

- Run SOLIDWORKS
- Navigate to Tools > Add-Ins
The Add-Ins dialog will open. -
Scroll down the Add-ins list and under Other Add-ins select the desired options of ATR CustomTools:

Active Add-Ins
Select the Active add-in box associated to your installed ATR CustomTools version to set ATR CustomTools as active add-in in SOLIDWORKS. -
Start Up
Select the Start Up option to start ATR CustomTools automatically on SOLIDWORKS startup.

Active Add-Ins
- Click OK.
NOTE:
Only one instance of ATR CustomTools can be activated at the time. So if you have multiple versions of ATR
CustomTools installed you cannot set them as active simultaneously. Follow the steps in the next section:
Changing an active ATR CustomTools Add-In
for instructions to change the active ATR CustomTools add-in.
If you have multiple versions of ATR CustomTools installed side by side you can change an active one by following these steps:
- Run SOLIDWORKS
- Navigate to Tools > Add-Ins
The Add-Ins dialog will open. - Scroll down the Add-ins list and under Other Add-Ins, clear all check boxes of the ATR CustomTools version you want to disable.

Click OK and then restart SOLIDWORKS.

TIP:
Select the
Start Up
option associated to the desired ATR CustomTools version and restart SOLIDWORKS to activate the selected
version of ATR CustomTools add-in automatically on the next startup of SOLIDWORKS.
