Sequences
The sequences can be used to generate document codes. An unlimited number of sequences can be defined.
Sequences can also be used to generate filenames.
The Sequences options are located in the ATR CustomTools Profile Options.
Select the desired ATR CustomTools product from the table below to display further and product-specific instructions to find the Sequences options.

Click Tools, ATR CustomTools, Options. The ATR CustomTools Options dialog box appear with the Profile Options tab active. Select the Sequences node to see the options. |

Click the Options command located in the ribbon. The ATR CustomTools Options dialog box appear with the Profile Options tab active. Select the Sequences node to see the options. |

Login to your ATR CustomTools database, select the ATR CustomTools profile node from the Database View and then click the Profile Options command located in the Profile Settings group in the ribbon. The ATR CustomTools Options dialog box appear with the Profile Options tab active. Select the Sequences to see the options. |
| Sequence | Name of the sequence. |
| Min Value | Displays the minimum value generated by the sequence. The minimum value also corresponds to the first number generated by the sequence. |
| Max Value | Displays the maximum value generated by the sequence. The Next Value cannot be higher than the maximum value. The maximum value also corresponds to the last number that can be generated by the sequence. |
| Next Value | Displays the next sequence number that will be generated by the sequence. |
| Format Data | Displays how the sequence is generated. A string can contain alphanumeric values. (Hidden by default) |
