General Database Options
You can use the general options to set up the default language of the dictionary and also define the timeout when a user is automatically logged out.
The General options are located in the ATR CustomTools Database Options.
Select the desired ATR CustomTools product from the table below to display further and product-specific instructions to find the General options.

The Dictionary default language specifies the default language used to translate the documents. The following languages are available by default:
- Chinese (Simplified, PRC)
- Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan)
- English (United States)
- Finnish (Finland)
- Swedish (Sweden)
- French (France)
- German (Germany)
| Database Session Timeout | Sets the timeout for the database session (in minutes). Once the database connection has been idle for the time specified in the Database Session Timeout box, the user needs to login to the database again to establish a new connection. |
You are able to modify the timeout of the database session. To modify the timeout, follow the steps below:
- Select the Remember me option in the ATR CustomTools login dialog box to store your login information and to begin a new database session automatically once the current session has expired. Then the login dialog does not appear either.
- In a new database, the Database Session Timeout is set to 30 minutes by default. The minimum allowed database session timeout is one (1) minute.
