CUSTOMTOOLS has a context sensitive help system with several different ways to access it. Also, CUSTOMTOOLS have a wide documentation available about the API, product enhancements and the new features presented in the CUSTOMTOOLS versions. This help page describes the ways how you can access the CUSTOMTOOLS Help system and the different documentations.

The Release notes and What's new documentations are shipped with all CUSTOMTOOLS major version and service pack releases in Adobe PDF (*.pdf) format. PDF documents included in CUSTOMTOOLS are located in the \lang\english folder in your CUSTOMTOOLS installation directory.
For example, in the CUSTOMTOOLS 2023 version installed in the default target path, the CUSTOMTOOLS PDF documentation is located in the following path:
C:\Program Files\ATR Soft Oy\CUSTOMTOOLS 2023\lang\english
NOTE: New versions of the CUSTOMTOOLS PDF documentation is not included in the hotfixes or service pack specific update packages. |
The CUSTOMTOOLS API documentation provides information and instructions in relation to the CUSTOMTOOLS API (Application Programming Interface). The CUSTOMTOOLS API documentation is available as offline version in association to the SOLIDWORKS Add-in and, as online version in the CUSTOMTOOLS online documentation.
To open the offline version of the CUSTOMTOOLS API documentation, in SOLIDWORKS click Help, CUSTOMTOOLS API Help. The CUSTOMTOOLS API Help window appears.
