CUSTOMTOOLS Options are divided into Tabs by the scope on the environment the settings applies to. CUSTOMTOOLS environment has three (3) scopes for the settings to apply to.
In SOLIDWORKS, the CUSTOMTOOLS menu is located in the Tools menu.
| NOTE: The CUSTOMTOOLS Options dialog box have a dynamic title that changes based on the active tab and, the node selected from the options tree. For example if you are editing CUSTOMTOOLS File Conversion options, the CUSTOMTOOLS Options dialog box is then called as Profile Options - File Conversion. |
| Database Options | Database level options. These options applies to every profile and user that uses that CUSTOMTOOLS database. |
| Profile Options | Profile level options. The CUSTOMTOOLS profile options applies to the currently active Profile in your CUSTOMTOOLS Database. |
| User Options | User level options. These options applies to the CUSTOMTOOLS User currently logged into the CUSTOMTOOLS database. |
| Tabs in the Options dialog box are shown based on the CUSTOMTOOLS user rights. If you do not see the desired options tab, please contact your CUSTOMTOOLS environment administrator to get further information about your CUSTOMTOOLS environment related user permissions and the local security policies. |
