Unregister Database

Unregistering CUSTOMTOOLS databases is used to remove the un-necessary databases from the Database View in the CUSTOMTOOLS Administration. Unregistering CUSTOMTOOLS databases using the CUSTOMTOOLS Administration does not delete the databases from the SQL Server. On the Unregister action, the selected database is just removed from your Windows Registry instead.

Having a lot of CUSTOMTOOLS databases registered in your local workstation may decrease performance of CUSTOMTOOLS.

  1. Run the CUSTOMTOOLS Administration.
  2. Select the desired database from the Database View.
  3. Click the Unregister command in ribbon. The CUSTOMTOOLS dialog box appears.
  4. To unregister the selected CUSTOMTOOLS database, click Yes. If you want to cancel the database unregistration process, click No.
TIP: You can also right-click the desired database and select Unregister to unregister the selected database.
