The Weldment Settings options are used to setup property writers that writes the custom property values to the cut-list items on cut list update based on the property writer mapping. The property writes could have e.g. information about the profile type, thickness, cut type and so on.
The property writers are implemented based on the customer specification so if you need any new property writers, please contact your local CUSTOMTOOLS reseller.

See this example image to see how the property writers work in practice with a square tube type of profile.
In an example case shown in a picture available in a link above, the user have a square tube profile that have been made using the SOLIDWORKS weldments feature called Structural Member.
Type of the profile is read from the cut-list-item and the profile type's code comes to a property based on the rules defined in the property writer. In this case the profile type is square tube so the profile type code in the cut-list-item properties is 6.
The cut-list-item 3 in profile is cut from its' both ends and the property writer used to determine the profile cut type is set so that twisted cuts at the ends of the profile gives a value 2 to a property called Profile cut type.
The square tube material is Copper. The Material code for the profile comes from the Microsoft Excel workbook where the material codes are defined for the different materials. Click the Open button located in the Combination Rules group to see the existing material code definitions.
