The Custom Entity Settings are options where you can define the data structure used to store the customer specific data into the database. The structure is made up from the parent and child nodes which compiles to a tree view.
The customized entity nodes could also have specific Sheet Format Actions.
The Custom Entity Setting options are located in the CUSTOMTOOLS Profile Options.
Select the desired CUSTOMTOOLS product from the CUSTOMTOOLS Products box to display the further and the product specific instructions to find the Custom Entity Setting options.

The Custom Entities are used to define hierarchical structure for the customized entity data written into your CUSTOMTOOLS database. You can associate your Custom entities with the desired Sheet Format Action Profiles to handle drawings' sheet formats properly based on the specified level of the entity data.
Add | Add a new node into the data collection. |
Edit | Edit selected entity node. |
Delete | Removes the selected node. |
Custom Entity levels already defined, are shown the Custom entities list.
Entity Name | Represents name of the Custom Entity specified. |
Sheet Format Action Profile | Represents the Sheet Format Action Profile associated to the specific Custom Entity. |
Custom Entity Levels are used to be mapped to the database attributes that control writing of the entity values in the database side. Entity levels are based on the hierarchy levels defined in the Custom entities list above the Custom entity mappings. Each different level of the hierarchy in the Custom entities list is considered as one Entity level to link with one Target Attribute in your CUSTOMTOOLS database.
Entity Level | Represents the hierarchical level of the Custom entity. The entity levels are represented as numbers starting from one (1). As bigger the number is in the Entity Level column, as deeper the specific entity is located at in the entities hierarchy. |
Target Attribute | Determines the database attribute the Custom entity value is associated with in your CUSTOMTOOLS database. |
