Custom Color set for an assembly overrides the parts' color definitions in the assembly. However, any color definitions in the parts does not diappear, the assembly color is just determined by the most top level document in the assembly.
Assigning a custom color for the document as the Property, applies the color for the model also in practise so you can use the Properties pane also to determine the color for the model.
The existing customized colors are listed into the Colors dialog box. You can define your own colors in the CUSTOMTOOLS Profile Options. Customized Colors do not have to belong to any color standard.

TIP: Custom color can be assigned for the component also by double clicking the desired color in the color list. |
