Attribute Editor

Create a database attribute to link your Property together with the SOLIDWORKS document property .

Attribute Settings:

Attribute name

Defines the name for attribute.

As well as you can regonize different attribute by the name, the name works also as the specific column name in the SOLIDWORKS document properties.

Each attribute could be linked to the Property by the name defined in the Attribute name box.

NOTE: Same attribute name cannot be used more than once.

Use Attributes to Customize Your SOLIDWORKS Drawings:

You can also link the document Properties to the SOLIDWORKS Drawings directly by the Attributes by creating the Note Annotations to the drawing using the following formats:

$PRP:"Attribute name". Link a drawing property to the Note Annotation. If a value of the drawing property linked to the Note Annotations is changed, the value in the drawing Note Annotations gets also updated.
$PRPSHEET:"Attribute name". Link a property written in the model referenced be the drawing, to the Note Annotations. If a value of the model property linked to the Note Annotations is changed, the value in the drawing Note Annotations gets also updated.
