CoBox

The CoBox is a drawing related tool used to add the coordinate annotations to the drawing of a sheet metal part. The coordinates could be used e.g. to guide the cutting device to cut a complicated shapes from the sheet metal plate.

TIP: You can insert CoBoxes also into the sketches in drawing that does not refer to any model.

You can insert the CoBox annotations into the selected view of the drawing. A message box appears when trying to insert the CoBox annotation into another view than the selected one to prevent CoBox annotations insertion into the wrong view. To insert the CoBox annotations to another view, end the current CoBox session and select the desired view and start the CoBox again.

If you do not have any drawing view selected when you start the CoBox session, then a view that was inserted by first into the drawing is considered as the selected view.

CustomCoBox pane:

	Ends the CoBox session and saves the coordinate boxes added on the current CoBox session.
	Cancels the CoBox execution and undos all the changes made on the current CoBox session.

Coordinate Scheme:

	Linear coordinates	Use the linear coordinate scheme.
	Polar coordinates	Use the polar coordinate scheme.
	Reverse XY	Inverts the X and Y axis.

Group:

	Group selections	Select the coordinate group.
	Create new group	Creates a new coordinate group.
	Custom origin	Assign a custom origin for the coordinates. The origin is the place where the coordinates are X=0 and Y=0. Coordinates of all the points marked after the origin point are calculated by the origin location.
		You can assign the custom origin point into an intersection of two edges. Click the Custom origin button and then click the desired two edges to assign the origin point into the intersection point of the selected edges.
	Note angle in Degrees	Determines the angle of the coordinate boxes. The angle is measured from the note line to the coordinate box edge.
